The proliferation of multiple channels to market and the extended reach of new international customers are putting pressure on retailers to manage the complexity of getting products to the customer with speed and convenience.
“45% of retailers consider problems surrounding stock availability as the most significant issue they have faced over the past year”*
DHL invite you to workshop to gain insight to multi-channel trends from industry leaders, and an opportunity to take part in a peer-to-peer debate covering the importance, the need and how to:
• Align your front-end transactional website with back-end fulfilment processes
• Ensure availability of stock to meet customer demand
• Manage the impact on M-Commerce and mobile interaction
• Trade-off between speed, availability and cost
• Handle unexpected outcomes
Why should you attend?
Multi-channel, E-Commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain and Logistics decision makers will all benefit from understanding each others predicaments to achieving common goals of meeting customer demand, whilst reducing costs and improving business growth.
Success requires a collaborative approach between business functions. A product promotion through the new M-Commerce channel can increase sales, if product availability and speed of fulfilment are aligned.
