The Path to Personalisation: Past, Present, Future


 


Personalisation is a top action item for retailers because of its significant potential in terms of business value. There is no shortage of options (build, buy, add-on) to consider when introducing personalisation into a retail site. In this 60-minute overview, RichRelevance CMO Diane Kegley, along with VP of UK/EU Darren Hitchcock, will outline what personalisation options are available, the genesis of the technology, current best practices in implementation of both onsite and email recommendations, as well as key considerations in selecting a vendor.

Meet the speaker

Diane Kegley, Chief Marketing Officer

 

A renowned marketing veteran, Diane is responsible for driving global demand and visibility for RichRelevance's personalization and brand advertising opportunities — including corporate marketing, public relations, analyst relations, brand strategy, client marketing, advertising and business development.


Diane has spent the last 20 years leading multichannel marketing, media and branding initiatives for companies like American Express, AOL, CNET, American Airlines, HP, Lockheed Martin, and Sprint. Diane was most recently president of SMA Global, a boutique market strategy and production company serving Fortune 500 clients and the public sector. Prior to that, she was vice president and chief marketing officer for Stanford Research Institute's AtomicTangerine, leading global branding, marketing, communications and partner relations. Previously, she served as vice president of marketing for CNET, where she focused on branding efforts and revenue strategies across multiple advertising sectors.


Diane holds a BA in Business from St. Mary's College of California.

Darren Hitchcock brings a decade of leadership in the field of eCommerce solutions to his role as vice president of UK and European territories for RichRelevance.
With a history of solutions and business consulting in web technologies across Europe, Darren's expertise spans content and document management, searchandising, analytics and MVT testing. He is focussed on making the retail experience a more relevant and engaging place by combining technical acumen with tangible ROI to deliver successful personalisation innovations for major retailers.
